Special In-Person Event With H.H. The Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei

In Sino Esoteric Buddhism, the process of awakening begins when we receive spiritual empowerment from an enlightened Buddhist Master. The empowerment ceremony is a grand ritual to introduce us to our own innermost Buddha qualities called Buddha Nature through the blessings of the Vajra Master.

Within our individual, wild, untamed mind exists the inherent potential to awaken as a buddha, liberated from our sufferings and fully capable of helping all beings pacify their own sufferings and develop the great qualities of love, compassion, patience, equanimity, and omniscient wisdom that we all have deep within.

By receiving blessings from our guru, the seed of bodhi, the transcendental consciousness of enlightenment, is sowed in the depth of our mind. The seed will lie in the unconscious until we bring it to realization in the practice of meditation. Through continued and consistent meditation practice, our experience of suffering will diminish and positive qualities will manifest.

Attendance is limited, so please register in advance. Parking space and specific activities will be arranged accordingly upon registration. We kindly ask you to wear a mask in all indoor and some outdoor areas and practice social distancing at all times at Jinyin Temple, even if you are fully vaccinated. In the event of rain, we shall move the meeting indoors to our meditation hall.
