Occurring on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, this traditional festival is a time of "Double Yang" energy—symbolizing longevity, health, and the transition into autumn. In the Buddhist tradition, we dedicate this day to honoring our elders and practicing the virtue of filial piety, recognizing the wisdom and sacrifices of those who came before us.
