About the Event

The Four sublime states of mind have been taught by the Buddha: Unconditional Love or Loving-Kindness (Metta), Compassion (Karuna), Sympathetic Joy (Mudita), and Equanimity (Upekkha). These qualities are treasured because they are the universal expression of an open heart.

The Four Divine Abodes and the qualities associated with them balance each other. Through cultivating these qualities where the clinging aspects of love, compassion, and joy is balanced with the detaching power of equanimity, we are able to attain a stable, harmonious and grounded state of mind.

Please join us for this event on May 14, Saturday at 2pm ET to meditate on Joy, explore Joy and Equanimity of the Four Immeasurables, and have an open discussion on how we can incorporate these qualities in our daily life.

Recording of Part 1 of this topic can be watched on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV1xD2kE2l8

愿以此功德,普及于一切。
