About the Event

OPEN TO PUBLIC: AUGUST DHARMA SERVICE

Ullambana Festival

The Ullambana Festival, also known as "Ancestor's Day" or "Hungry Ghost Festival," is a time to express gratitude and make offerings to our ancestors and departed loved ones. On August 30, we will engage in traditional practices, such as making food offerings and dedicating merits to the deceased and the living, fostering a sense of connection and peace between this world and the next. We welcome you to join us for a Dharma assembly at 10AM ET for a blessing and commemoration ritual.

Merit-Making Offering

Merit-making is important in one’s spiritual practice. Merit is the result of good actions or deeds. If you would like to offer to the Buddha through the power of the sangha during this month’s dharma assembly and ritual, please consider making a donation. Any amount would be appreciated. Your gift will be put to work immediately as part of the merit-making offering for this occasion.
