About the Event
Pāramitā, often translated as “perfection,” is described in Buddhist commentaries as noble character qualities generally associated with enlightened beings.
In Esoteric Buddhism, the Six Pāramitās are considered the liberating or transcendent actions that guide practitioners on their path of spiritual cultivation. They provide an outlook of a complete Buddhist path for living: Generosity, Discipline, Patience, Diligence, Meditation, Wisdom.
For this upcoming December Monthly Gathering, we will meet on December 11, Saturday from 2:00-3:30PM EDT via Zoom for an English Dharma Talk on Six Pāramitās followed by a guided meditation to learn how to incorporate the teachings into our practice and daily life. An open discussion is reserved from 3:30-4:00 after the meditation.
