Dharma Assembly: Enlightenment Day of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva
Join us at Jinyin Temple on Saturday, August 1, 2026, as we commemorate one of the most significant days in the Buddhist calendar: the Enlightenment Day of Avalokiteśvara (Guan Yin).
While we celebrate her birth in the spring, this summer assembly honors the moment Avalokiteśvara attained supreme enlightenment. It is a day to celebrate the triumph of wisdom over ignorance and the boundless compassion that vows to remain in the world until every soul is liberated from suffering.
